THE DAVID ROY WILLIAMS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP WAS ESTABLISHED BY SHOCK RECORDS FOUNDER, DAVID WILLIAMS.

Since its founding, DRW Entertainment has grown into one of Australia's most respected live touring companies. Our services span Concert Promotion, Sponsorship Management, Professional Services, Music Loyalty and Artist services.

Professionalism and enthusiasm are the hallmarks of the group. Strong artist, Government and corporate relationships form the foundation of the work we do.

DAVID WILLIAMS

Founder / Director

David Roy Williams began his career in the Australian music industry behind the record store counter in 1980. He subsequently worked for a number of import and export music distributors including a period with Richard Branson’s Virgin Music Group in the UK.

David launched Shock Records in 1988, and the business quickly became Australia’s largest independent recorded music company. The business expanded to incorporate DVD at the turn of the millennium, and eventually included Export, music publishing and clothing divisions. David exited the business at the end of 2011.

David launched concert promotion company Tombowler in 2012, expanding the business and launching further divisions, eventually morphing the businesses into the better brand recognized umbrella of David Roy Williams Group.

David has served on the ARIA Board, as Chairman for the ARIA Awards and as Chairman of the independent recording association, AIR.
